Safe honeybee & bumblebee relocation.
Honeybees should be relocated, not exterminated β and a company that does not distinguish them from wasps before quoting is telling you something useful about its standards. Honeybee populations face significant pressures, most states have beekeepers who will collect a swarm, and a swarm resting on a branch is usually docile and moves on within a day or two.
The harder scenario is an established colony inside a wall or roof void. Removal there is a construction job as much as a pest job: the comb and honey must come out, or residual honey ferments, attracts secondary pests and eventually stains through ceilings. Sealing the entrance without removing the comb is the most common β and most expensive β mistake.

Real properties need more than a surface treatment.
Protection works from the perimeter inward β and from the hidden structural spaces outward.
Every credible job starts with an assessment of the building, not a price over the phone. In Humid Southeast conditions that means checking crawl-space foundations and heavy tree cover before anything is applied.
Product goes where pests actually live, travel and enter β wall voids, cavities and harbourage points. Broad over-spraying looks thorough and achieves very little.
Interior treatment, structural sealing and an exterior perimeter band working together. Any one of the three alone leaves an obvious gap.
Pressure here peaks March through October, so the programme should shift through the year rather than repeating the same visit. Activity builds early in spring and holds through a long season, easing only briefly in winter.
Regional experience matters: subterranean termites, fire ants, mosquitoes behave differently in the Humid Southeast than elsewhere.
Treatment planned around children, pets and daily routines β with clear guidance on products used, where they're applied, and how long to stay clear.
What to look for before calling β knowing the signs helps you describe the problem accurately and get a more useful quote.
Live removal runs $150 to $600, higher where structural access is required. Sealing a colony in without removing comb can lead to fermenting honey, staining and secondary infestation costing far more to put right.
Use this as a checklist when comparing quotes β two quotes at the same price frequently cover very different work.
Treatment clears what is there now; these are what stop it returning.
This guidance is general information about bee removal, not a diagnosis or a quote. Pestlio is a directory and does not perform treatments β always have a licensed professional inspect your property before deciding on a course of action.
Lasting pest control is structural, not seasonal. Here's what genuinely complete treatment reaches β and the questions worth asking before you sign anything.
